You could say I was born into the insurance business. I started working for my father’s insurance agency at the age of 16 doing odd jobs and typing letters. (We used carbon paper in those days and corrected typing errors by using a round eraser pencil or by starting the whole thing over!) I learned the insurance business from the ground up after going to work for him full time. I learned the lessons of old school service to the customers and a good old fashioned work ethic. I obtained my insurance Property and Casualty license in 1975 and my Certificated Insurance Counselor Designation (CIC) in 1992. I have worked in all aspects of the insurance business, but my forte and the majority of my experience is in Personal Lines. I’m a native Southern Californian that grew up in Huntington Park and Downey. I’ve lived in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the mountains of San Bernardino County and have family in Riverside and San Diego counties so I have a broad familiarity the various insurance needs for our part of the state.
